Making the eyes larger is only a small part of achieving attractive eyes. Fat and muscles surrounding the eyes are manipulated and partly excised along with the adjacent skin to give the customers the most ideal eyes of their lifetime.
As “the window to the mind”, the eyes play a significant role for your first impression with others. Eye surgery is not always about making the eyes larger. You will never be satisfied after the surgery unless the eyes are well balanced in harmony with your face.
What is the most suitable eye surgery for me?
Vertically small eyes
Horizontally small eyes
Most Asians have an extra excess amount of skin and tissue overlying the medial aspect (near the nose) of their eyes. This is called the “Epicanthal fold” =”Mongolian fold”, creating an erroneously appearance of the eyes (an illusion of “hypertelorism”or eyes that are abnormally wide apart. )
For such eyes, it is often recommende d by Plastic Surgeons to release and reorientate the Mongolian fold. However, you mayachieve even better results if you undergo additional procedures designed to increase the vertical dimension of your eyes such as Double eyelidplasty whether it be by incisional approach or non-incisional approach (buried suture technique)
In this case, you can choosefrom 2 different techniques : the incision-techniqueorthenon-incisiontechnique (the buried suture technique) . However, with the burying, you will hardly have scars after the surgery and you can go back to your routine in a short period of time.
In this case, you can choosefrom 2 different techniques : the incision-technique or the non-incisiontechnique (the buried suture technique) while the fat is removed. For those who have too much of a muscle mass or have bulky eyes, the non-incisoinal technique (=buried suture technique)is not feasible. But, there is no need to worry. You can still have beautiful eyes through the incisional technique .
The eyes could be corrected through the normal double eyelid surgery. If you have one sleepy eye on either side, you need to receive the corrective surgeryof the eyelid.
Usually, people receive the eye corrective surgery for both eyes but sometimes, some patients are allowed to have the burying for one eye only.
For those who have sleepy eyes, the surgeon will work on the eye-opening muscle (LPS :levatorpalpabraesuperioris) and the eye-closing muscle (OOM: Orbicularis oculi muscle) during the double eyelidplastyto make the most attractiveeyes .
People tend to erroneously equate sleepy eyes as blepharoptosis. However, the latter makes the eyes hard to closetherefore, it should be separated with sleepy eyes. To address sleepy eyes, you need to receive the aesthetic surgery.
Angry looking eyes often creates uncomfortable atmosphere between people especially during first confrontation. This is because people interpret a person with angry looking eyes to be really angry which is absolutely not true. Whether innate to that particular person or not, angry looking eyes can be evident even throughnatural aging process. This is because the lateral part (near the sides) of the eyelids descendslateral hooding) more with time when compared with the middleand the medial side (near the nose) due to the relative absence of muscle fibers (frontalis) in the lateral aspect. With lateral canthoplasty or canthopexy, the hooding can be addressed and at the same time, a more augmented lateral area can be achieved exposing more percentage of the white part of the eyeball (sclera) resulting in more natural looking eyes.
Dark circle refers to the lower eyelid dark shadowing and hyperpigmentation just below the lower eyelashes. There are several factors contributing to the formation of the dark circle: these include hyperpigmentation, poor circulation, loss of skin tonicity, and excess fat underlying the skin. Moreover, with natural aging, the hyperpigmented area may even appear irregular on its surface. To make situation worse, the ligament structure called the CPF (Capsulopalpebralfasica) becomesloose by wear and tear mechanism as the person ages. This may create a protrusion of the lower eyelid called the “ baggy eyelid” .

Through Lower blepharoplasty, the surgeoncan address all of these problems: skin excess, baggy lower eyelid, and irregularities of theskin. Lower blepharoplasty can be categorized into 2 different techniques : the incision technique and the non-incision technique. The formercan address all of these problems by making incision below the eyelashes and reorientating fat or removing some excess fat and finally lifting and anchoring tissue upward and excising some excess skin. The latterapproach address the baggy eyelid and irregularities of the skin surface by reorientating orbital fat downward to the cheek area or excising some excess orbital fat. This procedure however cannot address skin excess since skin is never incised in the first place. Depending on the problem, the surgeon can recommend the surgical technique necessary to each individual patient.
When you have eyelashes poking your eyes, you will be likely to suffer from bruises which would cause irritation and eye sight decrease. The symptoms are usually referred as “introvertedeyelashes” and “palpebra inversion”.
For those eyes, you can have either the burying or the incision.
Unlike women, when a man has too big eyes, people consider him an overly romantic guy. Therefore, for those men who want to have natural double eyelid eyes, the surgeon performs the double eyelid surgery as much carefully as possible.
